Indofood Relaunch Chitato Unique Flavor Variant of Fried Noodles

Jakarta, May 30, 2022 – Seeing the high public interest in social media in sparking the hashtag and petition #BalikinChitatoIndomie, PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP) through its subsidiary PT Indofood Fortuna Makmur (IFM) has officially brought back the Chitato Mi Goreng flavored product which is the result of product collaboration with Indomie which was previously released on a limited basis in 2016. Now, Chitato with Mi Goreng flavor has been sold simultaneously in nearby stores, minimarkets, hypermarkets, and supermarkets throughout Indonesia, starting April 2022 and in the future will be available throughout grocery/food outlets.
"Reflecting on the public's interest and response, especially netizens who are so extraordinary waiting for Chitato Rasa Mi Goreng products, finally we bring back the Chitato variant with the authentic flavour of Mi Goreng, to fulfil their strong desires, which is a favourite of the Indonesian people. This is our commitment to fulfil the wants, needs and satisfaction of Chitato consumers," said Head of Marketing Snack Food PT IFM, Harry Susanto Wibowo.
Chitato Rasa Mi Goreng still maintains the authentic taste that is a favorite of the Indonesian people. The IFM Research & Development (R&D) team has collaborated on the right combination of formulas between the flavours of Indomie Goreng and Chitato, so that consumers can enjoy the distinctive flavours of the two brands.
Head of R&D Snack Food PT IFM, Winarti said, "The presence of Chitato with Mi Goreng flavor is a real proof of the Chitato (R&D) team to continue to innovate, one of which is by bringing back a taste sensation that is exactly the same as the original taste of Indomie Goreng."
Since its limited release in 2016, many Chitato connoisseurs have not had the chance to taste the Chitato Mi Goreng flavoured variant due to the high level of consumer enthusiasm. With the re-presentation of this variant, Indofood believes that consumers will be able to continue to indulge themselves in enjoying the delicious unique taste of Chitato Mi Goreng anytime and anywhere without worrying about running out of stock. This product creation is intended for all people, especially young people who have an interest in delicious trendy snack innovations which are popular to the snacking public consumers.
