Consumer food trends continue to emphasize health and nutrition. We recognize that it is also our responsibility as a food company to produce products with optimal nutrition for our consumers that can also contribute to resolving undernutrition, overweight and obesity, and micronutrient deficiencies.

ICBP enhances some of its products with micronutrients such as vitamins and minerals. We strive to do more than just complying with regulations as our attempt to deliver products with improved nutrition level.

Reducing Sugar, Salt, and Fat

ICBP is dedicated to independent and collaborative research to develop products with lower sugar, salt or sodium, and fat (SSF) content.

We strive to help reduce health problems induced by high SSF consumption by creating healthier products for our consumers. This is aligned with the Indonesian National Agency of Drug and Food Control’s (Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan or “BPOM”) SSF guidelines. Products which meet SSF criteria are permitted to indicate the “Healthier Choice” logo (a ‘tick’ sign “Pilihan Lebih Sehat” logo) on the front of product packaging.
