Integrated Health Post
As the cornerstone of our community-based prevention and educational healthcare service, ICBP assists Integrated Health Post (Pos Pelayanan Terpadu or Posyandu) to support the Indonesian Government’s national agenda to help address the following national health issues:

  • Reduce malnutrition among 5-year-old children;
  • Reduce chronic energy deficiency in pregnant women; and
  • Reduce incidences of low birth weight among newborns

Indofood Nutrition Care
As the first 1,000 days of life are crucial in building a nutritional foundation for babies, since 2009 our Nutrition & Special Foods Division has worked alongside our parent company, Indofood, to develop the Indofood Nutrition Care program. It aims to educate pregnant and nursing mothers on the importance of proper nutritional intake, from conception to their child’s 1,000 days of life.

Health workers visit communities in mobile clinics which are equipped with fetal monitoring equipment (doppler), and impart nutritional education to pregnant and lactating mothers.

Health Education for Female Students in Islamic Boarding School
As part of our commitment to encourage healthy lifestyles and promote the importance of understanding diet and nutritional requirements, ICBP together with Indofood has established an educational program on health and nutrition for senior high school female students from the Pondok Pesantren Gontor, an Islamic Boarding School in East Java.

In 2021, 105,000 copies of Balanced Nutrition Guidelines were published through the program, with the information also being made available online through the Media Gontor website.

In 2022, the print run for education booklets was increased to 155,000 and a Nutrition for Teenagers webinar was conducted, reaching 1,800 students. In April 2022, ICBP held a hybrid seminar on the Importance of the First 1,000 Days of Life, reproductive health, and balanced nutrition in Gontor Putri Islamic Boarding School Hall in Mantingan, East Java province. The seminar was attended by more than 2,000 female students who joined the seminar offline and online.
