Statement Regarding Issue About Indomie Product in Taiwan

Regarding the video uploaded to video-sharing website YouTube about Indomie instant noodle products in Taiwan, PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur ("Indofood CBP") confirms that the video from 2010 is related to issues that have been resolved and accepted by governments in a number of countries, including Taiwan and Indonesia. Currently, our business activities in Taiwan continue to run as usual.

 

Indofood CBP would like to emphasize that Indomie instant noodle products that are loved by many people around the world are safe for consumption because they are manufactured in accordance with food safety standards and regulations set by Indonesia’s Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM), international food standards CODEX alimentarius, and by the authorities of the various countries in which the instant noodle products are marketed and sold. 

 

Indofood CBP’s factories have also implemented Good Manufacturing Practices and have been certified by the Indonesian National Standard, ISO 9001 and ISO 22000, as well as Halal certification.
